At the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Aix-Marseille Université (AMU) volunteered to be one of the 5 institutions contributing to the taking of the National Multi-subject Test and the Master’s Comprehensive Test in Ukraine by Ukrainian and Ukrainian-speaking students present on our territory.

Organized simultaneously in Ukraine and in other countries this summer, these totally dematerialized tests are held from France in three cities: Paris, Bordeaux and Marseille.

For AMU, these days mobilize particularly the logistic skills of the Faculty of Sciences as well as the Digital Department of the St Charles campus, in order to allow these students to take their access tests to Ukrainian universities. As for the Ukrainian-speaking supervisors, they are AMU colleagues and members of an association of solidarity with Ukraine. This logistical and organizational help has enabled nearly 200 students currently in the South-East of France to take their tests at Aix-Marseille Université. This support will allow them to continue their studies in Ukraine at the beginning of the new academic year for those of them who are considering it.

This step is in addition to AMU’s mobilization and support to the Ukrainian people as a whole, with concrete actions already put in place on the financial and psychological levels since the beginning of these tragic events.
