INSTITUT-SoMuM Issue 2 of the doctoral journal Mutations en Méditerranée (MeM) is out

The editorial board of Mutations en Méditerrannée (MeM) is pleased to announce the publication of its second issue: "Wheat, vine, olive: transformations in practices and representations of a Mediterranean triad".

This theme explores the transformation of Mediterranean agricultural areas through the emblematic triad of wheat, vines and olives. These crops provide relevant entry points for examining changes in agricultural practices and the collective representations linked to these products, taking into account the land, economic and symbolic issues that accompany them. Through a cross-analysis of different spatial and temporal scales, the articles explore the shifting links between territory and society, where these products play the role of witnesses to the mutations of the Mediterranean rural world.

We hope you enjoy reading them!
