DescriptionAim of the project is the development and evaluation of therapeutic strategies to re-established immunotolerance in autoimmune neuro-inflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis and in experimental animal models. The project will be closely associated with the German trans-regional Collaborative Research Center CRC128 Multiple Sclerosis and is supported by international collaborations, ensuring high quality research and optimal networking. There is the option of obtaining a postdoctoral lecture qualification.
The position is initially limited to three years. Funding for an extension is available and extensions will be negotiated depending on the progress of the project. | |
RequirementsWe expect a strong interest and expertise in immunology. Previous experience in flow cytometry, immunological assays, protein biochemistry, neurobiology and cell biology techniques and/or animal experimentation will be helpful. The applicant should be willing to work independently, but also to be a team player and be willing to contribute to the team’s success.
