2021 QS ranking: ENS de Lyon is once again in the top 5 of the best French universities

On June 12, 2020, the seventeenth edition of one of the most consulted university rankings in the world was published.

ENS de Lyon performed among the Top 15% in the 2021 edition.

For the 3rd year running, ENS de Lyon maintains its global position in the Top 15% in the QS rankings of the world’s best 1000 universities. And ranks in 5th position among the top French universities.

QS World University Rankings : 5th (France) / 161th (world)

THE World University Rankings : 6th (France) / 201-250th (world)

Academic Ranking of World Universities : 14-19th (France) / 301-400th (world)

The QS World University Ranking in an annual publication of university rankings by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds. Along with the Times and Shanghai rankings, it is one of the three most renowned worldwide rankings.

The QS rankings employ six performance indicators to assess a university’s strenghts in research, teaching, employability and internationalisation.
