Building on the success of its previous editions, the International Theatre Week is now an eagerly awaited event that celebrates the encounter between scientific research, contemporary creation and artistic practices, weaving a unique link between our university and its cultural territory.
At a time when Europe is prey to the convulsions of war and the uncertainties of globalization, this 4th International Theatre Week "Les théâtres du réel" intends to show how the theater is the privileged place of a thought of the contemporary world.
Supported by the Maison du Théâtre of Aix-Marseille Université, this week is intended to be a meeting place for the public and for theatrical activity. Based on the performances of the 2022-2023 season of partner theaters in Aix and Marseille, it offers students, researchers and the general public study days, master classes, mediation, conferences, meetings and round tables with artists, actors and directors.
