After seven months of travel, the NASA’s Perseverance Rover landed on Mars on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Its mission is, among other things, to search for traces of ancient life on the Red Planet.

Four researchers from LGL-TPE - Cathy Quantin-Nataf, Gilles Dromart, Gilles Montagnac and Erwin Dehouck - are members of a research team that developed one of the instruments on board the rover: the SuperCam.
